My life hasn't been easy. I lived on a chain in a dirt yard and had multiple litters of puppies. At the time of my rescue, I had 7 little babies and we were left out in the yard in 30 degree weather. I worked very had to keep my babies healthy and fed. Everything I had I gave to them and they are now fat little babies who will all get much better homes than the one I had. I am now in a foster home, learning to be a house dog...sleeping on soft beds, having food and water available to me at all times, getting lots of love and kisses. It's been a learning experience for me too...in just a week, I've learned how to use the doggie door to go outside and go potty, but I must admit, I still have an occasional accident in the house when the door is closed. However, considering that this is all new to me, I think I'm doing pretty great.

I already feel like I've hit the lottery but but I know my forever family is out there. I do great with other dogs and even have a cat in my foster home -- he's curious and likes to chase my tail (see Jeter, he's also available for adoption). I have a gentle sweet soul and just want to be loved and cherished...like my foster mommy says I deserve to be!
